Melissa’s accounting expertise spans over 30 years and includes both public and industry practice. Before Stonemark, Melissa also owned and managed her own business for 12 years. Walt Lamperski, CPM
Walt has been committed to excellence in his position as President of Stonemark since 2007, bringing over 30 years of experience to the company. Prior to joining Stonemark, his experience included Senior Vice President for Bell Partners (portfolio topped 30,000 units) from 1985 until 1996 and then again in 2003 until March of 2007. He has also served as Vice President for Berkshire Realty Holdings from 2001 until 2003 and as Senior Vice President for United Dominion Realty Trust, overseeing approximately 25,000 units from 1996 until 2001. Mr. Lamperski received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Shorter University and received his Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1987. He is past president of the Georgia Apartment Association (2008), Atlanta Apartment Association (2003), and the Triad Apartment Association in North Carolina (1992). Tiffany Crutchley is the Executive Vice President of Client Development and Marketing at Stonemark, with responsibility for creation and implementation of advertising strategies. Diane Gilbert-Guthrie has been committed to excellence in her position as a Regional Vice President since 2019 and currently oversees portfolios throughout Texas and Tennessee. Over her career, she has worked for Greystone Asset Management – which the Asset Plus Companies acquired – as well as Greystar, the Hudson Group, and the Finger Companies. Diane was most recently Senior Vice President of Operations for Asset Living. Based in Texas, Diane earned the 2019 Houston Apartment Association Executive of the Year award, serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Apartment Association, and is a member of the Go-Getters Club, twice earning the Go-Getter of the Year award and becoming Lifetime Honorary member in 2015. Katie currently serves as Regional Vice President, overseeing portfolios across Texas and Tennessee. She joined Stonemark in March 2025. Prior to this, she spent 11 years with Asset Living, where she managed a large portfolio of 24 properties totaling more than 5,000 units.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, Katie builds high-performing teams grounded in accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. Lisa Davis is a strategic, results-driven multifamily executive with more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale residential portfolios across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, known for her ability to drive operational performance and create high-performing teams.
Currently serving as Regional Vice President at Stonemark Management, Lisa oversees a multi-state portfolio providing leadership to regional teams while driving financial performance, operational strategy, and client engagement. She is recognized for developing scalable systems, improving NOI, and delivering consistent performance across diverse asset classes.
Prior to this role, Lisa held senior leadership positions with organizations including Brookfield Properties, Hamilton Point Investments, First Communities, and Monument Real Estate Services. Throughout her career, she has led complex acquisitions, integrated new communities, and successfully stabilized distressed assets. Lisa’s experience spans luxury, high-rise, mid-rise, garden-style, student housing, and value-add communities. Evita Fikes is a Regional Property Manager with over 16 years of experience in the multifamily industry, having started her career in 2009, and has been with Stonemark since 2015. She brings extensive expertise in property rehabilitation, operational strategy, and financial performance, with demonstrated success in maximizing occupancy and enhancing net operating income. Evita has successfully managed diverse multi-property portfolios, led capital improvement and renovation projects, and implemented strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
During her time with Cushman & Wakefield, Evita quickly advanced into a leadership role, further strengthening her experience in team development, leasing strategy, and asset performance. She later returned to Stonemark, where she progressed from District Manager to Regional Property Manager, continuing to lead high-performing teams and deliver consistent results across her portfolio. John Williams
With over three decades of experience in the multi-housing industry, John Williams has built a strong reputation for expertise in property operations, construction, and capital improvement projects. Beginning his career in 1992, John developed a comprehensive understanding of the industry through hands-on experience in maintenance and apartment construction, where he spent eight years developing a strong technical foundation.
