Michael has been committed to excellence in his position as CEO of Stonemark since 1997. He has over 25 years of acquisition, disposition, finance, and management expertise to ensure the future success of Stonemark. As CEO, Michael has established one of the nation’s most outstanding multifamily management companies by attracting and retaining the best executives and associates in the industry. Prior to joining Stonemark, Michael served as CPA, specializing in real estate audit and tax consulting, with Habif, Arogetti & Wynne, PC; and Vice President of The Sterling Group, a national apartment development company, and Vestcor Realty, North Florida’s largest owner and manager of multifamily communities. A graduate of The University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics, Mr. Taylor holds a BS in Accounting & Finance.

Melissa Gill has been committed to excellence at Stonemark since 2016. As COO/CFO, Melissa oversees Stonemark’s day-to-day operations, designs and implements policies and strategic direction, and supports the delivery of high-quality services to clients and associates. Melissa’s accounting expertise spans over 30 years and includes both public and industry practice. Before Stonemark, Melissa also owned and managed her own business for 12 years. Melissa’s success stems from her diverse accounting and operational background and is enhanced by her management experience that focuses on strong customer service and communication. Melissa Gill received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Management from Trinity College in 1988. She received her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the State of Vermont in 1989.

Walt has been committed to excellence in his position as President of Stonemark since 2007, bringing over 30 years of experience to the company. Prior to joining Stonemark, his experience included Senior Vice President for Bell Partners (portfolio topped 30,000 units) from 1985 until 1996 and then again in 2003 until March of 2007. He has also served as Vice President for Berkshire Realty Holdings from 2001 until 2003 and as Senior Vice President for United Dominion Realty Trust, overseeing approximately 25,000 units from 1996 until 2001. Mr. Lamperski received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Shorter University and received his Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 1987. He is past president of the Georgia Apartment Association (2008), Atlanta Apartment Association (2003), and the Triad Apartment Association in North Carolina (1992). He holds a Real Estate Broker’s license for Georgia and North Carolina.

Tiffany Crutchley is the Executive Vice President of Client Development and Marketing at Stonemark, with responsibility for creation and implementation of advertising strategies. Tiffany provides support and strategic direction to employees and assets ensuring optimization of all marketing pursuits. She utilizes her twenty years of Multi-Family experience to ensure that the communities present a product that not only meets the expectations of the owners and customers but exceeds them by enhancing appeal and creating value. Prior to joining Stonemark , Tiffany served in numerous roles both at a corporate level as well as onsite. Her work history includes companies such as Gables Residential, AMLI Residential, Greystar and TriBridge Residential. Tiffany attended Kennesaw State University and majored in Business Management. She is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association and has served on several committees including The Membership Drive and Food-A-Thon.

Carolina Jabara is a proven multifamily leader with over 25 years of experience driving operations, growth, and performance across the U.S. She has recently joined Stonemark Management as the new Vice President of Operations, overseeing Texas and the East Coast.

Her career includes senior leadership roles as Regional Vice President at Birchstone Residential, where she led 8,500 units across the East Coast, and Regional Vice President at MAA, overseeing large-scale multifamily operations. Earlier in her career, she was a Regional Property Manager at First Communities, managing a diverse Atlanta portfolio and building a foundation of operational excellence.

Her expertise spans the full spectrum of property management—from new development and lease-ups to renovations, repositioning, and acquisitions—across garden, mid-rise, high-rise, student, and mixed-use assets.

Known for her results-driven approach and passion for developing teams, Carolina is a strategic leader who delivers operational excellence while building and mentoring high-performing teams.

With more than 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Katie Schieffer is a results-driven, people-focused leader recognized for driving operational excellence, strengthening asset performance, and leading high-impact teams across diverse portfolios. Her expertise includes asset stabilization, value-add strategies, financial performance, and portfolio oversight, where she combines strategic insight with hands-on execution to maximize occupancy, NOI, and long-term asset value.

Katie currently serves as Regional Vice President, overseeing portfolios across Texas and Tennessee. She joined Stonemark in March 2025. Prior to this, she spent 11 years with Asset Living, where she managed a large portfolio of 24 properties totaling more than 5,000 units.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Katie builds high-performing teams grounded in accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. She is passionate about developing talent and fostering environments where teams feel supported, empowered, and aligned. Her ability to mentor, coach, and elevate those around her has consistently contributed to both team success and strong property performance.

Outside of her professional role, Katie is a wife and proud mom of two who enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has also recently discovered a love for gardening and can often be found tending to her latest outdoor projects.

Lisa Davis is a strategic, results-driven multifamily executive with more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale residential portfolios across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, known for her ability to drive operational performance and create high-performing teams. 

Currently serving as Regional Vice President at Stonemark Management, Lisa oversees a multi-state portfolio providing leadership to regional teams while driving financial performance, operational strategy, and client engagement. She is recognized for developing scalable systems, improving NOI, and delivering consistent performance across diverse asset classes. 

Prior to this role, Lisa held senior leadership positions with organizations including Brookfield Properties, Hamilton Point Investments, First Communities, and Monument Real Estate Services. Throughout her career, she has led complex acquisitions, integrated new communities, and successfully stabilized distressed assets. Lisa’s experience spans luxury, high-rise, mid-rise, garden-style, student housing, and value-add communities. She is particularly skilled in acquisitions and due diligence, revenue strategy, capital project oversight, and leadership development. 

Lisa holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Duburque. When she’s not leading teams and optimizing portfolios, Lisa enjoys travel, discovering new cities, and spending time with family and friends.

Melissa Doss joined Stonemark Management in 1994 and currently oversees multiple multi-family portfolios throughout Georgia. Melissa’s property management expertise spans a period of 23 years in the multi-family real estate industry; her experience covers multiple markets throughout Georgia. Melissa’s expertise includes, but is not limited to rehabilitation projects, lease ups, property operations. Melissa’s success stems from her diverse operational experiences within the field of property management and is cemented by her systematic management style that promotes communication and strong work ethics. Her management approach and results continue to meet the goals and objectives of our owners and investors resulting in increased property values. Marygrace Navarro is a seasoned multifamily leader with over 32 years of industry experience. Known for her ability to build and nurture strong relationships, she consistently stands out as a trusted and results-driven professional.

Marygrace joined Stonemark Management in 2006 as a Community Manager and was later promoted to Operations Trainer, and then to Regional Manager in 2016. Her extensive experience has provided her with deep expertise in operations, financial performance, and revenue growth strategies.

She has a proven track record of developing high-performing teams and driving long-term operational success. Marygrace has successfully managed a diverse portfolio, including lease-ups, value-add communities, and market repositioning assets.

Currently, she oversees communities across Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Marygrace now calls Atlanta, Georgia home. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and visiting her second home in Mexico City

With over three decades of experience in the multi-housing industry, John Williams has built a strong reputation for expertise in property operations, construction, and capital improvement projects. Beginning his career in 1992, John developed a comprehensive understanding of the industry through hands-on experience in maintenance and apartment construction, where he spent eight years developing a strong technical foundation.

Throughout his career, John has gained extensive experience in building systems and infrastructure critical to multi-family communities. His technical expertise includes conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, CCTV surveillance, and access control systems. He also has significant experience with utility infrastructure systems, including apartment submetering solutions.

John has played an integral role in the renovation and improvement of multifamily communities, overseeing projects involving apartment interiors as well as common-area spaces such as clubhouses, leasing centers, and fitness centers. His experience spans all phases of capital improvements and asset preservation projects, including structural, architectural, civil, and amenity upgrades.

Nichole James is a proven multifamily curator with over 13 years of experience, currently serving as the Marketing & Training Associate at Stonemark Management. Nichole plays a pivotal role in bridging marketing strategy, technology, and on-site execution across the organization’s portfolio.

With a strong foundation in customer success, property operations, and leasing leadership, Nichole brings a dynamic, results-driven approach to enhancing the prospect and resident experience. Nichole’s background spans nationally recognized operators including Venterra Realty, Atlantic Pacific, Waterton Residential, and The RMR Group, providing exposure to large-scale, multi-state portfolios and diverse asset classes.
