Responsible for keeping the grounds of the community in an attractive condition; for keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant apartments, sidewalks and alleyways of community in a clean and safe condition. Assists in other types of maintenance when necessary. The ideal candidate must be capable of working with little or no supervision and be able to work outside, in all weather conditions, and to perform physically difficult work.
• Picks up litter on grounds and waters lawn, shrubs and flowers as needed.
• Sprays with insecticides as needed.
• Maintains watering and drainage systems.
• Assists in inventory control and upkeep of all grounds equipment and supplies.
• Assists with any emergency maintenance.
• Cleans all hallways and common areas including laundry center.
• Cleans all parking areas.
• Cleans all sidewalks and alleyways.
Education Training and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related on the job experience or training.
Abilities and Aptitudes:
Must be well organized and a self-starter who can work efficiently with little supervision. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
